Working hours and time-off

Tell Mour when you're available. New settings apply to new bookings — jobs already on the calendar stay put.

Working hours, time-off periods, and per-client preferred days tell Mour when you're available. Set them up once, and Mour checks every new booking against them, warning you before two jobs collide or a job lands outside your hours.

Setting working hours

Settings → Working hours. Per weekday:

  • Toggle on or off.
  • Pick an open time and close time.
  • New accounts start with every day open all day and enforcement off — Mour blocks nothing until you set your real hours and switch enforcement on. (A typical setup might be Mon–Fri 7am–5pm, Sat 8am–noon, Sun off.)

Conflicts at booking time check the job against your hours — see "Jobs near closing time" below for exactly how.

Jobs near closing time

When enforcement is on, you choose what happens to a job that would run up to — or past — your close time:

  • Must finish before close (the default): a job is allowed only if it wraps up within your hours. A one-hour job can't start at 4:30pm when you close at 5.
  • May run past close: a job only needs to start within your hours and can run a little late. That same 4:30pm job is fine — you'll just wrap up a little after 5.

This is separate from your overbooking setting, which decides whether a clash blocks the booking or only warns you.

Time-off periods

Settings → Time off. Add a date range and a label:

  • Vacation: Jun 14–21.
  • Equipment service: Aug 9.
  • Personal: Dec 24–26.

New jobs can't be booked during the range. Existing jobs already in that range stay put (see "Changing your hours never moves jobs already on the calendar" below).

Preferred days per client address

Client → address → Preferred days. Tap to pin one or more weekdays. Mour prefers these days when it books the next occurrence of a recurring job; if none are open, it falls back to any working day.

Changing your hours never moves jobs already on the calendar

When you change your working hours, time-off, or preferred days, jobs that are already scheduled stay exactly where they are. The new settings apply going forward — to:

  • New jobs you create.
  • Reschedules you do yourself from the job screen.
  • The next occurrence of a recurring job, scheduled after you complete the current one.

That way a client's confirmed Tuesday-at-9 visit never quietly jumps to a different slot behind your back. You stay in control of anything that needs moving.

What happens to "stranded" jobs

If you changed your hours and existing jobs now violate them, those jobs:

  • Stay in place if you complete them on time.
  • Move to your inbox's Overdue tab if you don't complete them by their scheduled date, where you can reschedule, defer, cancel, or complete them.

The app shows you what's stranded; you decide what to do with each one — reschedule, defer, cancel, or complete.

Recurring + working-hour changes

If you change working hours and a recurring job's existing occurrence is now stranded, the next auto-scheduled occurrence (after you complete the current one) WILL respect the new rules. The existing stranded one is yours to resolve.
