Playbook: locksmith

For scheduled, non-emergency rounds — rekeys, smart-lock installs, master-key updates — with per-job parts notes and before/after proof.

First, the scope, because it matters: Mour is for your scheduled, non-emergency work — rekeys, smart-lock installs, master-key updates, planned property turnovers. Emergencies — a lockout at 11pm — are a phone call, and they belong outside Mour. The app earns its place on the planned rounds, where forgetting a blank or a part means a wasted trip across town.

Set up

  • Scheduled and recurring rounds. Book your planned jobs into the calendar; set recurrence on the accounts that turn over on a cycle (a property manager's regular rekeys, for instance). Pin per-address prices on each service.
  • Per-job parts notes. On each job, note what to bring — "6-pin SC1 blanks," "smart-lock mounting kit," "master-key chart for this property." The note surfaces on the job the morning of, so the van is stocked before you leave. (Notes are on every plan.)
  • Before/after photos on. Document the lock state going in and coming out.

A day in Mour

Open Today, tap Optimize Route to sequence the planned stops by drive time, and follow the numbered pins on the map. At each stop, photograph the lock state before you start and after you finish, do the work, and tap Complete — your proof and the completion record are saved with the job, private to your business. On Professional, completion drafts the invoice; record the payment when it comes in.

Where it earns its keep

  • Parts notes mean you arrive with the right blanks and hardware — the difference between one trip and two.
  • Before/after photo proof of lock state protects you on a "it wasn't working when you left" dispute.
  • Routing keeps a spread-out day of planned calls tight.

Which plan

Hustler for the routing and map that a multi-stop day needs. Professional when you want invoices drafted on completion. Keep the true emergencies on the phone — Mour is the system for everything you can plan.
