Billing — switching tiers, refunds, and SMS

How tier changes work on iOS, Android, and the web; where refunds come from; and how SMS is included on the paid plans.

Mour's billing is platform-selected: whichever platform you signed up on is where your subscription lives. Every paid plan is billed monthly — there is no annual plan.

  • iOS: Apple App Store (StoreKit). Apple holds your card; Apple handles billing, taxes, refunds, and dunning.
  • Android: Google Play Billing. Google holds your card; Google handles billing, taxes, refunds, and dunning.
  • Web (app.mour.app): Stripe. Stripe holds your card; Mour talks to Stripe directly. Web subscriptions are billed monthly by card.

You're locked to the platform where you first subscribed. If you signed up on iOS and later open the web app, the web billing screen shows "Managed in App Store" — and vice versa — because subscriptions don't transfer between providers.

Tiers

  • Hustler — free forever, no card. Clients, services, and monthly jobs capped at a starter level; recurring jobs, job photos and email notifications included; no client texts.
  • Professional — $14.99/mo. Unlimited clients, services, jobs and photos, plus route optimization and the map, unmetered client text notifications, multiple addresses per client, offline view-only mode (mobile), invoicing, and service prerequisites.

For current caps and prices, see the pricing page.

Switching tiers

In-app: Settings → Billing → Subscription. Pick a different tier and tap Upgrade or Downgrade.

  • iOS: Apple handles the transition with automatic proration. You'll see a credit / charge difference on your next Apple statement.
  • Android: Google handles the same way. Credit appears in your Google Play balance or as a debit on your payment method.
  • Web: Stripe computes a prorated charge or credit. Upgrades charge the prorated difference immediately; downgrades issue a credit toward your next invoice. The proration preview appears in the confirmation dialog before you click Confirm.

The new tier's features become available immediately on all three platforms.

Cancellation

Where you subscribed is where you cancel.

  • iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Mour → Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Mour → Cancel.
  • Web: Settings → Billing → switch to the free Hustler plan. The downgrade is scheduled for the end of your current billing period; you keep paid-tier features until then.

When the current billing period ends, your plan drops to the free Hustler plan. You keep all your data — you're just now subject to the free plan's limits.

Refunds

Refund requests flow to the platform that took the payment.

  • Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com or Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Apple typically refunds within 90 days for legitimate reasons.
  • Google Play: Play Store → your subscription → Request a refund. Google has an automatic 48-hour window for app and subscription purchases.
  • Stripe (web): email founder@mour.app and we'll issue the refund directly. Standard window is 30 days from charge; we work in good faith outside that.

For situations Apple / Google decline that you believe are legitimate, email founder@mour.app. We'll work with you in good faith and can extend a grace period on our side.

Grace period after payment failure

If your provider can't charge your card on renewal day, you enter a grace period during which your tier features stay active. Apple, Google, and Stripe each set their own grace window. While you're in it, your paid features stay active and we email you a reminder to update your payment method. If the grace window ends without a successful charge, your account moves to the free plan. Update your payment method — in App Store Subscriptions, Google Play Subscriptions, or the web billing portal — to reactivate.

SMS notifications

Client texts are included with Professional and are not metered — there is no monthly allowance, no balance, and nothing separate to buy, so you won't see an SMS section to manage in the billing screen. Just send what your jobs need.

One bill, wherever you signed up

You pay through whichever store you signed up on — the App Store, Google Play, or card on the web. The prices, tiers, and features are identical across all three; only where your card is charged differs. Your card details are handled securely by the payment provider and are never stored on Mour's servers.

Questions about your bill

Email founder@mour.app. We can see your subscription status, tier, and payment provider on our side. We can issue Stripe refunds directly; for Apple and Google we work with you in good faith and can extend grace on our side.
